Political Parties’ Policies Seminar Series in preparation towards 2022 National General Elections
The PNG National Research Institute (PNG NRI) in collaboration with the Registry of the Integrity of Political Parties and Candidates Commission (IPPCC) will be hosting a series of seminar presentations for the political parties in preparation for the National General Elections (NGE) in 2022.
These presentations will provide much-needed information for the wider public for good governance, and free, fair, and transparent National General Elections.
There will be presentations done by two political parties each day on Tuesdays and Thursdays every week from the 9th of November to the 16th of December 2021 at the PNG NRI Conference Centre.
The parties will present their historical background, visions and mission, goals, policy platforms, and their main development agenda should the party form Government or be part of the new Government after the 2022 National General Elections.
Thus, the Institute is extending this invitation to the political parties and the key stakeholders to attend by invite only and be part of charting a smooth road towards the 2022 National General Elections as well as contributing to strengthening the political party system in Papua New Guinea.
To adhere to the Covid-19 Pandemic Measures, in-person attendance is limited to 20 people maximum per session. The public is invited to participate in the seminars virtually/online or radio/TV via the following platforms:
- NBC Radio (pre-recorded and broadcast);
- Microsoft Teams Livestream;
- NRI Facebook livestream: https://www.facebook.com/pngnri; and
- Relayed livestreams on NBC and Australian High Commission’s online platforms.
