Research Fellow
Ronald Sofe is a Research Fellow with the Economic Policy Research Program at PNG NRI. He received a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Papua New Guinea, and a Master of International and Development Economics from the Australian National University. Mr Sofe has undertaken an internship with the ANU Development Policy Centre as an awardee of the 2014 Australian Prime Minister’s Pacific Program. At PNG NRI, he is engaged in research projects that focus on state-owned enterprises (SOEs), roads and other infrastructure and utilities in the country. He has keen research interests in competition, market and regulatory economics.
